2. How do I access a FTP server?

Step 1. Connect to a FTP server
You can do this via 2 ways:
One, get yourself a FTP client like smartftp or cuteftp at downloads.com.
Two, you can access the server via Internet Explorer.
The main things you need to know are the following:

*NOTE* L/P usually stands for login/password.

If you are using an FTP client, just file in the the boxes with the approriate information and hit connect. You should then connect to the server. Just treat the server as if it was your own desktop, so just double click a folder to get into it and double click a file to download it. It's that simple. *NOTE* Follow the rules that the FTP owner puts up. You should be able to see the rules very clearly.Make sure you follow their rules or you WILL be BANNED.

Step 2. Connecting to a FTP server via IE (Internet Explorer).
To access a FTP server via IE, you must always remember one generic IP address and just put in the required information.
Generic IP *remember this!!!*
ftp://login:password@IP.Address:Port#/
That's all you need to know.
So for the FTP example from above, you would type in:
ftp://animewired:zuah@66.32.4.114:400/

You should then be connected to the FTP server. (If it asks for the password again, just type it in where it asks for it)

Again, treat the server like your desktop and double click to get around the server.
When you want to download a file, right click on the file and 'choose copy to folder..' pick the folder you want to download it to and viola.

*NOTE* If you can't access the server by either methods, most likely it means the server is full and you won't be able to access it until someone finishes downloading.

That should be it. You should now be able to get files from animewired servers.
