Sysreset File Serving Tutorial

First download SysReset from. http://www.sysreset.com/

This tutorial is to teach you how to set up a ftp ad with Sysreset IRC Client, for serving and sharing Anime in #animewired.

Step #1 - Check your Addons

Begin by clicking SysReset > Addon Manager to open up the addon manager.


Once in the addon manager, look for ftp.ini (or FTP Ad) in the list. Select it, and hit the Load button once (so that the button's caption changes to Unload). This will give your sysreset the ability to use FTP Ads. Now, close the Addon Manager and proceed to step 2.

Step #2 - Setting up the File Server

Now, click on SysReset > FTP Ad Manager. This will bring open the FTP Ad Editor.


Once this form has opened, click the Add Button. A series of message boxes and inputboxes will appear...

Use Automatic IP Lookup?: YES

Port Number: This is the port your 3rd party FTP Serving Software is running on. The default is usually 21.

Login/Password/Max Users: This is once again already set up in your 3rd party FTP serving software, just copy in the values.

FTP Description: This is what will pop up in your ad, if you want to put what you're serving or what your connection is, put it here.


After you've finished setting that up, click on your new ad on the left listbox, and change all your values to match the ones highlighted in blue on this picture.

Okay, now you're done and your FTP Ad is set up for usage in #Animewired!
